About Me
Exploration Geochemist & Data Scientist
I have been working in mineral exploration and applied geoscience since 2010, from logging diamond drillcore on early-stage gold projects through to building machine learning workflows over multi-million-sample geochemical databases. My experience spans junior explorers and major mining companies across greenfields and brownfields programs, with a particular focus on getting the most out of complex multi-generational geochemical and mineralogical data. I specialise in combining exploration geochemistry, quantitative mineralogy, and applied machine learning to produce interpretable, decision-ready outputs for exploration teams. I hold a PhD in Applied Geology and a BSc Honours in Geology and Spatial Information Systems, both from the University of New South Wales, where I was awarded the University Medal for Geology. Prior to consulting independently I held senior in-house roles at SensOre in Perth and was the Applications Manager for portable XRF/XRD applications for Olympus across the Asia-Pacific region.
